 The disbanding of the clan was of course controversial at the time but it led to the forming of the new clan dog by Willopillo and Max8abug, who later invited des_0 before changing the name of the clan to BAT and inviting players Ratlys and Ausfriedchicken (Phoenix9494). BAT clan later ascended far beyond BUG ever did, making it to #1 on the all time clan leaderboard. While BUG was an accomplished and influential clan, the end of the clan brought the players to greater places and overall was for the better.

== The Story of BUG Clan ==

During the Revival, new players began to form alliances and friendships, leading to a few new clans being created. The first major clan of the Runsafe Revival was RAT clan, created by [[Ratlys]]; but shortly after, other players were inspired to form their own clans, including MOD, created by Papapetes with members Max8abug and Willopillo (who is incredibly cool hot and sexy and super smart and amazing), While MOD clan continued to exist, Max8abug and Willopillo shortly left to form their own clan called BUG, with third player des_0.

=== The Beginning ===

BUG clan started off fairly normal, but due to the members of it being some of the most active players of the revival, the clan quickly became well known as one of the leading clans on the server. Shortly after the founding of the clan they decided to build a base together, while this base didn't see much use, it did set show some of the now well known aspects of the clan like its ????????

=== BUG 1 ===
Shortly after this base was made, it was abandoned due to its small size and impractical design, and the next base was created on Dec 14th 2023. Known as the mountain base the next bug base was built around Max8abug's singleplayer base, using a large unusually shaped mountain with a large cavity as the inspiration for the base. This base was the most important era of bug clan, seeing the coming and going of various clan members such as _Moxity, OctaDex, and DrGiggler. Although this base was tragically cut short by a griefing by Papapetes on January 7th 2024, less than a month after building this base. Most former members of BUG note this base as the favorite base of the clan.

=== The Fall of BUG 1 ===

The griefing of BUG mountain was mostly left a mystery by Papapetes, who never elaborated on how he found the base or why he did it, leading to distrust and tensions within the clan that would only build over time. Notably, the base was saved in creative form with help from the admin team at /ct te bugclan_base.

=== BUG 2 ===
Following the griefing of BUG mountain BUG clan went on to build the final base of the clan (often called the “Tube base”) This base was built when the clan consisted of the final members Max8abug, Willopillo, des_0, DrGiggler, and _Moxity. This base was the most practically built base of the clan, being built hidden in the ground and having more utilities than previous bases built by the clan.

During the use of this base tensions within the clan led to infighting, and the eventual disbanding of the clan.
