Info

The Manavoid was the first new dimension added to Huckleberry. It currently has no mobs, 2 blocks, and 1 obtainable item found it it. This mysterious new realm is the source of all Arcane Power used in Huckleberry. Arcane power can be used to create light, and teleport players.

Appearance

The Manavoid has land generation similar to the Nether, but doesn't have lava lakes or lava pools anywhere. It is made entirely of Manarock, and occasionally, you can find small patches of Arcane Residue growing from the ground.

Behavior

While in the Manavoid, you will take damage and lose hunger normally. You will also gain a purple Fog clouding your vision during the time you have the Arcane Ascension effect.

Blocks and Items

Currently in the Manavoid, you are able to find a few blocks, and 1 item.

  • Manarock - The Manavoid is made of this block, it has a small chance of dropping one or two Arcane Dust, and is not hard at all to find.
  • Arcane Residue - This grass-looking stuff is a little harder to find, and is the residue of Arcane power found in The Manavoid. Breaking it will give you one or two Arcane Dust as well.
  • Arcane Dust - This purple redstone dust of power is very plentiful in The Manavoid, and can be used to make Arcane Crystals, a good light source for the overworld.

Accessing The Manavoid

Accessing The Manavoid is rather easy, and only requires 4 Dorite and a potion of any kind. Once you have the 4 dorite, you'll need to craft a Runic Plinth, by laying the Dorite in an upside-down T shape in your crafting grid. After you have your Plinth and a potion of any kind, you need to look right at the Plinth and drink your potion.

Once you do this, your mind and soul will be taken into the Manavoid, leaving your physical form behind, even though other players can't see it. Once in the realm, a 5 minute effect of Arcane Ascension will be applied to you. That's how long you have in this new dimension. Once the effect wears off, or you die, you will be returned to your body in the overworld, where you can continue on your day, or try again. Progress made in traveling in the Manavoid is not saved, and you will start from the same place every time you enter.

Remember, your soul goes into the Manavoid, so if you die there, your physical self in the overworld dies too, so be careful.
