Gerald Day 2024
A mysterious cave beneath obsidian spires appeared within the bounds of spawn. Inside, two entities, one identified as Spencer and the other faint and unrecognizable, attempted to recall a memory. Some speculate the faint voice belonged to ex-Super User Wow_Gerald11, but it’s more likely a suppressed part of Spencer’s consciousness. Keen observers note that the rank of Super User has been retired from the hierarchy, yet Gerald uniquely holds rank despite having been banned over a decade ago. Spencer finds that there are lapses in his knowledge of the SU, but cannot access server records.
Players exploring the cave eventually found themselves in an obsidian prison cell, facing a spire adorned with wither skulls and two floating orbs. They were brought in to uncover truths about Gerald. The first player to successfully trace the memory was des_0. Passage through granted each player a Memory Shard. “Make memories in people’s hearts because those memories will be all that remains of you when you’re gone.”
