While Podzol is a part of vanilla minecraft, it was added in a later version than Huckleberry was built off of. Only a few things about it have changed.
Podzol is a decorative block that can only be found in Redwood Forests. It is a nice looking brown color, great for decoration. Podzol, unlike grass, does not spread to adjacent dirt blocks, making it harder to cover large amounts of land in it. Luckily, the ground in the Redwood Forests is made of it, so it isn't too hard to obtain.
