Captain Flint's Reef/Fishing Changes

  • The name and lore of Flint's Gold has been updated.

Server Changes

  • Puppeteering emotes now works as expected.
  • Emotes and other system messages now get prefixed with channel tags.
  • Behind-the-scenes changes to clans.

  • Welcome to Captain Flint's Reef!

Captain Flint's Reef is made for players to fish, hang out, and buy items with Flint Tickets!

What are Flint Tickets?

Flint Tickets are the Currency used at the Captains Reef. You can obtain this currency by fishing, once you catch enough fish you can turn in your fish to get Flint Tickets. You can use Flint Tickets to buy diffrent types of fishing gear.

Fishing Contest

Every week there is a fishing contest that is held at spawn. This contest takes place

  • Sunday 8:00pm EST
  • Monday 1:00 GMT

The Winner of this event wins 1 Squid in a bottle, 10 emeralds, and 30 Tasty Fish which can be used to get Runsafe Notes!

Ideas?

If you have anything that could improve Captain Flint's Reef such as Ideas for the market, things players could do at the reef, or anything you can think of that is realistic post down below!

Server Changes

  • If you stay inactive for 2 minutes in a channel, you get returned to global chat automatically.
  • Removed some exceptions.
  • Added feedback if you try to puppet into a non-existant channel.

Extra Changes

  • Centralan now has a contact email. You can now email Centralan at JGCentralan@gmail.com!

Server Changes

  • Colour codes are once more filtered in chat.
  • Your name should once again be highlighted in chat.
  • The console can now initiate whispers again.
  • DOG will now be smarter about where it responds.
  • When someone vanished whispers someone they can see, the other party may now respond within a 2 minute timeframe.
  • Replaced the default minecraft /say command.
  • Console name is now configurable.
  • Vanishing no longer removes you from your channels.
  • Fixed an error preventing you from using % in chat messages.
  • \ at the end of a message no longer affects the console.
  • \ in front of a name no longer escapes the colour code used by mention highlighter.

Server Changes

  • The server will now announce when a player ends another players killing spree in the PvP arena.
  • Players can no longer gain rating/heads in the PvP arena by killing themselves.
  • When messaging a player, you enter "private chat" with said player, which means every message you send will go to them with no need to enter the command before each message. To return to global chat, you can use the "/1" command.
  • You can enter clan chat using "/2", and all further messages you send will go to clan chat until you change channel again.
  • Players who join for the first time should now correctly appear at spawn.
  • All chat is now routed through channels in nChat.
  • The same filters are applied to all chat channels.
  • You can switch chat channels by using /n. global should be /1 and clan chat should be /2.
  • When you enter into a private conversation, you no longer need to use /r to keep chat private.
  • Emotes are sent to your current channel rather than broadcast to everyone.
  • Some commands that are no longer needed have been removed, such as /c.
  • The puppet command now takes a required channel argument, which should tabcomplete.

Teamspeak Changes

  • The order of users in a channel has been redone by the rank they have. etc Admins on top, Moderators under Admins, users under Moderators.
  • Icon order and symbology has also been reworked a smidgen.

Rule Changes

  • The use of client-side modifications to automatically broadcast text messages or perform emotes is no longer permitted on Runsafe. The use of such mofications may be used to execute commands in a quick fashion but this exception does not extend beyond responsive macros. For example, automatically teleporting your player when at low health is not permitted.

Wiki Updates

  • Builder and Builder+ are being allowed to create their own Wiki Pages under certain rules/conditions...
    • The page must be regarding you and Minecraft.
    • The page is NOT offending any other players.
    • You are not advertising other servers.
    • Your page stays appropriate.
    • For rules on the Wiki visit the Rules page, and look for Wiki rules.
    • Ask a member of staff to make you an account to make your wiki page.

Server Events

  • Thanks to Centralan around spawn there are 6 emotes hiding. Your minecraft player will need to enter a 2x1 area to get the emote in your chat log. Good luck find all 6! If this goes well more emotes may appear around spawn to replace the old ones.
