The Survival world on Runsafe has only one rule: No Law-breaking. Everything else is allowed (Expect hacking), you are free to grief and pillage all you like. It is advised that you build your house far away and well hidden, as there is no protection against looters stealing your stuff and/or blowing up the things you've built. A well hidden base is a safe base!

As of May 2013, Runsafe is no longer running the locked chest system, but there is a bank for storing the items you value most in survival. Only you and you alone can access items you place in your bank.

Worlds that survival has to offer

  • Overworld - Where Minecraft is normally played
  • Nether - The fiery hell that comes with Minecraft.

Exclusive survival features

  • Runsafe Bank - A place to store your treasures.
  • Wolf Tracking - Locates the closest player near you.
  • Monster Spawners - Allows you to pick up spawners in the world.
  • CombatCooldown - Provides a lock-down state during PvP combat in specified worlds, preventing execution of commands.
  • Clans - A more "official" way to maintain a group in Survival.

How get into the Survival worlds

To enter our Survival hub from spawn, simply walk into the first available building on the left.

Once you are inside this building you will notice there are two portals. Our admins have created one portal that will teleport you somewhere in Survival on the surface and one portal that will teleport you somewhere underground. These portals will teleport you within 10'000 blocks of x=0 and z=0.

Afraid of warp campers? Do not worry! Another exciting feature the admins have implemented is the warps are unique to each player. At the moment, if two players tried to portal to Survival at the same time, from the same portal, they will not end up together.

We also have a portal to The End in the Survival hub. This portal will teleport you somewhere into The End world.

We used to have a warp to The Nether but seeing as players can create one, we removed this service.

Commands for the Survival World

These are the commands that we have open for players to use within the survival world if you would like to see a complete list of commands visit the Command Reference.

  • /sethome <name> - Sets your location as one of your homes.
  • /home - Tells you all your available homes
  • /home <name> - Teleports you to one of your home locations.
  • /delhome <name> - Deletes one of your home locations.
  • /spawn - Teleports you to the survival spawn which acts as a server-wide spawn.
  • /mail - Opens the players mailbox.

At the moment, the builder rank grants the user up to 6 homes, so use them well. See Rules for a list of all survival rules.
